GOP governors opposing vaccination mandates

Republican governors, particularly Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and Texas Gov. Greg Abbott, have objected to requiring citizens to get vaccinated.
They charge that people’s rights to make the best decisions for themselves are violated; individuals should be permitted to make their own choices; requiring vaccinations is an example of government overreach; mandated vaccinations violate individual rights to freedom of choice.
►Do these governors object to requiring children attending school to get vaccinated for measles, mumps, rubella, diptheria, tetanus, whooping cough, , polio, meningitis, hepatitis; ►Do they question the government mandate for children to receive an education; ►Do they object to government requiring drivers to obtain drivers’ licenses; ►Do they feel government overreaches by demanding car owners obtain car insurance; ►Do they feel that requiring car passengers to wear seat belts violates individual choices; ►Do they question the government mandate that those at airports go through security before boarding a plane; ►Do they object to the government making workers to pay into Social Security; ►Do they object to government mandates limiting speed on highways, parkways, surface streets and thorough fares? ►Is it a violation of individual liberty to mandate income taxes; ►Do they complain that requiring voters to present identification violates their rights; ►Do they object to demanding citizens entering government buildings go through security; ►Do they sneer at most states requiring motorcycle riders to wear a helmet; ►Do they object to health and safety standards at senior living centers; ►Do they question the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation insuring individual savings accounts; ►Do they object to forcing guns owners to lock they weapons up at home to keep them away from children; ►Do they resist government laws preventing corporations from dumping pollutants into streams, lakes and the air; ►Do they question requirements that passenger ships have sufficient numbers of lifeboats for all passengers; ►Do they object to legal requirements for stockbrokers to follow various laws; ►Do they question minimum age requirements for drinking and voting; ►Did they rail against laws requiring restaurants and hotels along interstate highways to serve all people regardless of race, creed or color; ►Do they question the Supreme Court’s Brown v. Board of Education decision desegregating schools; ►Do they resist many states requiring a balanced budget; ►Did they oppose federal mandates for access to people with disabilities under the Americans with Disabilities Act. ►Do they object to government mandates to reserve certain parking spaces for those with disabilities? ►Do they feel that child labor laws violate the rights of minors; ►Do they object to minimum wage laws that require employers to pay a minimum wage; ►Do they oppose mandates that employers comply with basic requirements for workplace safety under OSHA; ►Do they want to block food safety laws so that individuals have to right to eat anything they want? ►Do they think that laws against domestic abuse violates that sanctity of the home; ►Do they object to minimum qualification standards for physicians and other health care professionals seeking reimbursement under Medicare & Medicaid? ►Do they oppose federal food safety standards and inspections as an intrusion on individual liberties of farmers and food processors; ►Do they oppose federal food safety standards and inspections as an intrusion on individual liberties of farmers and food processors; ►Do they object to federal standards for the distribution of pharmaceuticals; ►Do they oppose government mandated building and fire codes to protect occupant and community safety as impinging on the rights of builders to construct dwellings and commercial properties as they see fit?
Do they question the government’s right to bar women from receiving abortions? Nope, not at all!
